Rogue Esports Club was the academy team of Rogue.

After a horrible start to the Spring Split they brought in rookie top laner Finn and veteran support VandeR from their academy team and picked up 2 wins in the next 3 weeks. Due to being out of playoff contention already Rogue gave up on the split and changed back to their original roster to have a more competitive roster on the academy squad for the rest of their split. They stayed in lower midfield for the first weeks of the season but after going in week 6 the coaching staff decided to bench Profit and once again sub in young top laner Finn. In the last three weeks they also only went but while the losses came against the top 3 they managed to beat the other three teams and ended up in 5th from a 4-way-tie due to Head-To-Head records. They were chosen by Splyce as their opponents as they were seen as more predictable but made them regret that decision ingame the next week as they came in well prepared and dominated Splyce in a fast sweep.

It seems to be the Summer of the underdogs in League of Legends LoL , with another team claiming their first-ever title this season. Rogue were always known as the team that had never won a title, plagued with second and third place finishes, and always falling against the eventual champions in a domestic final. That allowed them to start at the upper bracket semifinals in the Playoffs, where they outlasted the MAD Lions in a series before getting swept by G2 Esports in their first encounter of the Playoffs at the upper bracket finals.
