The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features many shrines for players to complete, each with their own challenges. By far one of the most fascinating shrines are the ones where all of the puzzles happen outside of the shrine itself. Such is the case with the Jochi-Ihiga shrine in Tears of the Kingdom. To find the Jochi-Ihiga shrine in Tears of the Kingdom , look just southwest of Tarrey Town and directly south of the construction site. It is at the base of a waterfall, but there is something quite odd about it. If you stumble upon this shrine, it will initially be empty unlike most other shrines.
Shrines are fairly straightforward, but occasionally you'll come across one that requires you to restore a green crystal to its shrine to activate it. Jochi-ihiga is one such shrine, which you will only enter once you've already completed the puzzle in the outside world. Some of these shrine quests, like the Necluda Sky Crystal require a little outside-the-box thinking and building, contributing to their challenge. The shrine itself is out of commission and must be repaired , so you are not looking for a typical shrine. Near the western end of Tarrey Town you'll find a man with a green crystal standing beside a cliff.

T he Jochi-ihiga Shrine is one of a handful of shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that challenges players to solve its puzzle outside the shrine rather than within. These shrines, known as Rauru's Blessing Shrines, require the player to locate a large green crystal and bring it to a specific location where the shrine will be revealed. Once Link has reached this location with the crystal, directed by a green beam of light which it emits, he will be able to enter the shrine and receive its Light of Blessing reward.
