An affordable Martin? We love to see it. This somewhat rare mid 90s-early s acoustic is essentially a stripped down for a fraction of the price, which is why you don't see these terribly often. They ultimately stopped making them because the sales of this model soared high above some of their more expensive builds. Rest assured, this USA-made, Solid Spruce top, solid Mahogany back, laminated Mahogany sides, Mahogany neck, and Rosewood fretboard It's the real deal. It's outfitted with a Fishman soundhole pickup with the endpin jack for no-fuss gigging. On a less technical note, it plays incredibly well in comparison to some other acoustics of the same price tier. The intonation is nice and even all up and down the fretboard and it feels pleasantly smooth, whereas some other entry-level acoustics tend to have intonation issues and feel more rigid. Not this one!

I have an OM-1 that I custom ordered with a full nitro finish. Not this one! The only advantage I can see besides the obvious reduction in cost is added rigidity in the sides.
