Tonight, I was really in the mood for a decent Thai dinner, so we decided to head to our local Doytao Thai in Drummoyne. Doytao Thai is a chain of Thai restaurants in Sydney, first established in and today the chain has restaurants situated in Drummoyne, Newtown, Croydon, Padstow, Sutherland and Waterloo. The menus have changed since last time I was here, and they are more like a newspaper type feel with some pictures throughout. We were living off water tonight, but you can also order a freshly squeezed juice — choose from apple, carrot, watermelon, pineapple, celery, rockmelon, orange or mixed. There were even coconuts tonight too — ideal for this hot weather! There was plenty of vegetables which ensured I was getting some of my five a day and included mange tout, Pak Choy, green beans, spring onions and red capsicum. The chicken however was slightly dry which was a shame, but the noodles were superb, super soft and coated with enough sauce to make them highly addictive!
