There were no items marked gluten free in the menu. Our waitress was very clear that they could not guarantee that any food they served would be gluten free. We ended up leaving. Absolutely delicious! I was a little hesitant to eat here because of the reviews I read and they have an allergen statement on the site saying allergies are taken as a request not a guarantee but in talking to the server and asking if the chicken meal could be prepared safely I felt much more comfortable. They do offer gf bread and I would definitely go back for a sandwich! I felt safe but I would suggest asking a lot of questions especially about how things are prepared! I decided to stick with the fries to be safe and they did not disappoint. Many gluten free options and a gluten free fryer! Excellent wings and French fries.

Nice classic atmosphere. The bar snacks are good too, especially the fries. Great atmosphere and affordable. My go to place during undergrad at UVM. The burgers are great - same meat as the farmhouse grill, and be sure to get a cosmic Cosmo". Also don't forget to write your name on the wall! Burlington, Vermont.

Good food and they say they are celiac safe but I never feel right after eating here. Downstairs Parlour features the same great burgers without the sometimes long wait in the main restaurant. Review Fries are cooked separate and are awesome, gluten free bread, so Celiac friendly in that regard. He happily checked with the cook to make sure the corn grits were completely gulten free too. So we ordered a BLT, which is normally huge. But because we could only get it on a bun we got much less our server agreed than the normal order…But had to pay the same price and a dollar more for the bun. Wings were great too. I'm not celiac but very sensitive, ruined half my conference trip. Oyster selections from the raw bar change daily!
