By Tom West Rockstar has changed the requirements of two Grand Theft Auto 5 Xbox achievements to stop them from being discontinued following the removal of the Rockstar Editor.

TrueAchievements uses a method of assessment titled "TrueAchievement" score, in addition to Xbox network Gamerscore. The site is a member of the Xbox Community Developer Program , and as of July , TrueAchievements has over , registered users including the two highest-scoring Xbox players. TrueAchievements reached , registered users in March , and registers 6 million monthly unique visitors and 25 million pageviews every month. It is the second most visited Xbox-related website after www. TrueAchievements was designed and programmed by Richard Stone, and launched in March It was conceptualized when Richard Stone determined that the current GamerScore system devised by Microsoft was inherently unbalanced; it would sometimes appear to offer only a few points for difficult tasks in-game, and many points for somewhat trivial tasks in-game. His solution was to allocate points based on rarity of the achievement — that is, how many other players already had that particular achievement.

Every year, Microsoft holds a "Year in Review" event where you can go to the console manufacturer's Xbox website and check out how you did over the past year. You can view your best achievement, most-played game, and more. Unfortunately, Microsoft decided to not do that for Luckily, TrueAchievements was able to save the day. Today, the outlet announced that it's doing a "My Decade on Xbox" event. Just go to the proper TrueAchievement's page here , sign on with your Xbox Live account, and you're good to go. You'll be able to see the number of games you've played over the past 10 years and much more. Our favorite statistics has to be the value of games. No wonder we're always broke!
