Each guestroom is elegantly furnished and equipped with handy amenities. Really quirky pub with a warm welcome, good food and friendly locals. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and were drawn in by reputation and quality of the other principal hotels across the country. York Hull Road. OK it's slightly shabby in places and could do with some TLC, but it's clean and great value for money.
