Ratings of Supernatural season 1 episodes A really solid start to the show! It suffers a bit for me by not having a concrete plot, but in its place we get a ton of character focused one off episodes that build something more important than the show's mythology - the dynamic between Sam and Dean. That being said, when the show's mythology is built upon, it's really dope. Episode 11 "Scarecrow" is fantastic at thrusting the season's overall story forward, while Episode 14 "Nightmares" forwards the entire show's overall story forward. The Season 1 finale is awesome, it's a really fun episode that again, thrusts the story forward for the season. Unfortunately, it doesn't really wrap anything up and feels more like a mid-season finale than a season finale.
