Even before the events of the first game in the series, vault hunters have been searching the galaxy for the mystical vault for years by the time you pick up the thread in Borderlands 3. The first person to ever take up the mantel of skywell 27 typhon vault hunter was a man named Typhon, skywell 27 typhon, and he documented his adventures in a series of audio logs left all over the regions you will explore. Aside from just being humorous accounts of his quest, they also allow you to access valuable loot in his dead drops.
Here are all of the Borderlands 3 challenge locations in Skywell on Promethea. Check out the completed area map below, as well as individual images for each challenge location. These challenges reward great experience and sometimes even enhance your vehicles. Picking them up is always worthwhile, but some of them can be a real pain to find. There are two levels to this map, which is hard to see in the image above. Everything else is on the first floor. This Claptrap is easy to spot.
Skywell 27 typhon
Below is a guide to each of the Typhon Log locations. As you go into the main building, you should see two flights of stairs before the battle area, which will take you to the second floor. The third and final Atlas HQ Typhon Log location can be found in the Lobby of Self-Actualization, where you have to defend off the various waves of enemies. You should see a courtyard with a bunch of turrets on the second floor balcony. The balconies are split left and right, you want to go right. The first Meridian Metroplex Typhon Log location can be found in a grassy patch under a bridge containing Maliwan containers. Jump over the container and keep going along the ledge. Slide under the tube blocking your way and you should see the Meridian Metroplex Typhon Dead Drop in front of you. Hop in and ride to the next level, then take the second set of stairs that you pass it should be on your right. Go up one set of stairs and then look left and you should see a small sheet metal gutter guard looking thing. It is fairly close to the first location and will be easy to spot. Again, this one is pretty simple.
Then walk a couple skywell 27 typhon steps and you should see the Athenas Typhon Dead Drop location on your left. The Typhon Dead Drop is easy to find.

While they may not be packed with as much as a vault, you'll want to find all the Skywell log locations and pick up this dead drop. Your first log can be picked up right after landing in Skywell

In this area there are a total of five Crew Challenges for players to complete. To help you in completing these challenges, use our Skywell Crew Challenges guide below. As mentioned above, Skywell is a low gravity area which means jumping allows you to reach much higher locations. With this in mind check out the map above for all the Skywell Crew Challenges locations. This Typhon Log can be found inside the area called Maliwan Modulars. It is sitting in a control room that can be accessed through a tunnel in the lower portion of the large area to the north. After you travel through the maintenance tunnels you will arrive in another wide open area.

Hop in and ride to the next level, then take the second set of stairs that you pass it should be on your right. Andrew Smith. Picking them up is always worthwhile, but some of them can be a real pain to find. Simply head into the caves where the waterfalls are located to get started.
