With the most recent of these conferences having concluded, the gods unanimously decided to put humanity to an end. However, at the very last second, the eldest of the Valkyries, accompanied by the youngest, intervened and made the bold proposition to let humanity have a say in their fate by letting them go against the gods in a series of one-on-one fights to see if they are worthy of continuing to exist. Afraid to let go of their pride, the gods accept this proposal. Thirteen gods will fight against thirteen human champions.

Michel Nostradamus is one of the Einherjar set to fight in a future match of Ragnarok. Nostradamus takes the form of a small and short boy with long, light hair. He has a feminine appearance. Nostradamus has a goofy, whimsical, excited yet easy going personality. He can also be seen as quite cheeky and quite brazen, as he doesn't even care about the consequences of his actions and acts natural and childish. Brunhilde even told Goll that this personality makes him the most irritating Human in all of history, and that the only reason she brought him to Ragnarok was because Nostradamus is an important and key player in the Humans' victory against the Gods, and even claims that if it weren't for that, she would have sent him back to Helheim with a smile on her face. Brunhilde even considered using Nostradamus, alongside Qin Shi Huang and Leonidas , against Poseidon in the third match of Ragnarok, this one who was considered the "God among the Gods" and the "Zeus of the Seas". According to Brunhilde, Nostradamus is strong enough to kill the guards and escape from Helheim whenever he wants.
