Miss A was in for a treat this weekend, as she had a lovely package of Disney Palace Pets delivered for her to play with. Well they have been played with non-stop!

Disney Princess Palace Pets are a new range of toys from Character toys. I think most little girls love the Disney Princesses so a toy range of their pets are perfect toys to keep young girls entertained. We received the Disney Princess Palace Pets Pamper and Beauty Salon Set , which is one of the larger items in the range, the hub of all the pampering where the pets can meet up and be groomed together. The salon is made up of three areas, a spa tub with shower spray, a hair styling area in front of the mirror and a salon chair to sit in, spin round and be styled. There is also a shelving unit and other areas to hold various accessories and the play set can be opened out by moving the bath and chair outwards to create a larger play area. Her favourite place to be now is in the salon for a bit of pampering.

My eldest at 3 and half has recently become Disney Princess obsessed. Everything she wants is Princess orientated. You can imagine the look on her face when the Disney Princess Palace Pets Pamper and Beauty set arrived, it was something like this: Yes she was incredibly happy. The Disney Princess Palace Pets Pamper and Beauty set contained everything you would need to pamper the Princesses pets ready for their royal debut. Each Disney Princess has their own pet. The collection can grow as there are Furry tail friends, Primp and Pamper ponies and Talking and Singing pets. Each with different pets within. Both girls found the button on the talking and singing pet a little hard to push, but did manage it eventually. I had to watch my youngest as the brushes and clips are very small and whilst she is below the recommend age for the Pamper and beauty set she still wanted to play. My eldest needed no introduction as to what to do. Her imagination took over as she set to work bathing and pampering the pets. My youngest helped too by brushing the hair. I even got my hair brushed! My eldest could work out which pet belonged to which Princess too, which was lovely. The Pamper and Beauty set comes ready built but I did find it rather tricky to get out of the box.

Summer number 1 in the photograph above has magical colour changing nails which appear and disappear with water. As we have been playing with the figures, I have been impressed by how well made they are. Very pretty and lots of pieces to play with although you will need a little tub to keep all the bits in.

The girls have been playing with the Princess Palace Pets since Christmas. This is a free app which features the pets of their favourite Disney princesses. The twins especially love princesses and really enjoy styling their pets. They were therefore delighted when they opened a box and found their favourite animals made into real toys. The packaging was well designed. She says their hair is beautiful because you can brush it and it has lots of pretty sparkles in it. The good thing we have found is that you can use it with other toys and not just the pets.

Every little girl seems to gravitate to princess themed toys, bedding and clothes. But after a while, it is hard to find new and unique toys that involve the princesses. Disney is introducing you to a whole new line of toys centered around princesses — Palace Pets! Palace Pets started out as an app that shares the story of how the Palace Pets met the Disney Princess characters and includes activities such as a royal salon where children can wash, brush, groom, accessorize and treat the pets to snacks. Since this app exploded with popularity, Disney has come out with the Palace Pets toy line. My kids are more into playing with actual toys than video games. These are super cute and look like they'd be great for imaginative play!!! My 3 year old likes the app but my five year old isn't that into it. They would love these actual toys though!
