So I beat Nioh 2. You got it, pal. Being as weak-willed and limp-spirited as I am, I figured I would do the exact same thing. However, I will say this about my take on this whole listing thing: I am NOT listing these bosses in an order based on how technically nioh 2 boss they are or how easy they may have become after multiple encounters.

This time around, Nioh 2 received fine-tuned balancing changes to make co-op more difficult. I actually enjoy the bosses. In some cases using gimmicks or the environment is something I really enjoy. Feels really well put together. But I am not sure if the bosses get easier or I just got the hang of the game. I struggled the most with the first 2 region bosses and after that it was quite smooth sailing. He wields a variety of slash attacks, using both of his blades to strike or lunge forward with surprising speed. Imagawa uses a bow that shoots volleys of lightning arrows. His melee attacks can all be blocked. With blades protruding from its legs and tail, this huge demon ocelot clings to trees and launches tree-cutting waves straight for you. It will rapidly spin and charge forward, or launch wide projectile blades straight forward.

Beware that this boss learns new moves from the first time he enters Dark Realm mode. Not only do the Burst Counters drain his Ki, your follow-up combo will further diminish his Ki. The aforementioned pimp and one of my favorite inclusions from the original Nioh, Onryoki is the only boss found exclusively within the side missions that I saw fit to include on this list.
