By day it offers all the fundamentals of a classic greasy spoon whilst come the evening it transmogrifies into a great value Thai Restaurant. Do not be put off by its ordinary exterior because once inside it will confound the critics. It is very popular with the locals and with its warm welcome and unpretentious menu. Go while you still can! There is not much of a trail to follow on Marie but since this cafe has been serving up well-made British fare along with Thai food. Some while back they opened in the evening as a BYO for Thai food only. It is now well established and part of the rich fabric of Waterloo life and is a real hidden gem of a south London eatery.
