ShineLight I love the idea of this challenge so I decided to go for it. Though I doubt anyone will really enjoy reading this, kurapika power, haha

Out of all action-oriented shounen anime out there, Hunter x Hunter arguably has one of the most, if not the most, complex power systems. It is so complicated that viewers often find it difficult not only to keep up with the abilities of tons of different characters , but also to understand what actually the abilities of certain characters are. One of the most fascinating characters with equally fascinating powers is a man named Kurapika. He is a gentle and quiet man who is driven by a thirst for revenge against a group of thieves called Phantom Troupe who massacred his entire clan. Kurapika's nen abilities and his main weapons are a set of chains on his right hands. And this is a brief explanation of his powers.

Kurapika power

He is a Blacklist Hunter and current leader of the organization founded by Light Nostrade. His goal is to avenge his clan and recover the remaining Scarlet Eyes. He takes the role of the main protagonist in the Yorknew City and Succession Contest arcs. He was also the deuteragonist of the Hunter Exam arc. His eyes glow a beautiful and coveted scarlet when experiencing intense emotion. In his first appearance in the series, he wears a blue tabard decorated with an orange-colored red in the anime adaptation hem and a white full-body training suit underneath. He changes his tabard and training suit for the duration of the Yorknew City arc. His shoes are Chinese-style winkle-picker flats. From the Election arc he wears a blue or black suit with dress shoes, and in some subsequent appearances, he also wears a necktie. From the Succession Contest arc, as a royal bodyguard, he wears a uniform consisting of a blue suit and tie with a gold capital H on the left breast of the blazer. Kurapika also wears a single, drop earring ornamented with a ruby in his left ear. After learning Nen , he starts using black contact lenses in order to hide his Scarlet Eyes. Kurapika is a cool and intelligent individual, possessing vast knowledge.

Kurapika is the last living member of the Kurta clan, a clan of people who was hunted down and murdered by a group of thieves called the Phantom Troupe so they could steal the clan's Scarlet Eyes, which are considered treasures due to their beauty. However, Kurapika managed to escape, and he swore that he would take revenge on the Phantom Troupe. After he got older, Kurapika took the Hunter Exam, hoping to become a Hunter so he could track down the members of the Troupe. After separating from his friends, Kurapika learned the art of Nen and became a bodyguard for the Nostrade mafia family. During this time, he managed to kill Uvogin , one of the Phantom Troupe's strongest members, and remove the Nen abilities of Chrollo Lucilfer , the Troupe's leader, and decided to track down his clan's eyes and take them all back from the people who managed to get them.

However, when Kurapika used his scarlet eyes, then the power of the Holy Chain received a considerable boost as his mastery of the Enhancement increased exponentially. An old lady , also an examiner, asks them a question which they only have 5 seconds to answer.

Among all of the fantasy Shonen Animes out there, Hunter X Hunter has the most complex yet interesting power dynamic. Kurapika was the only one of the Kurta Clan who survived the brutal attack by the Phantom troupe. Even though he has a gentle and calm personality, he has a burning desire to avenge the death of his people and get hold of the Scarlet Eyes.

Kurapika's powers increase greatly as the series progresses. Although at the beginning he was weaker than Killua, during the Yorknew City arc he had become stronger than him due to his Nen abilities. On killing most of the Shadow Beasts, the Phantom Troupe manage to find out the Owl is the one with the auction items. Seeing the spider tattoo on Uvogin's back, Kurapika flies into a rage. The fact that he would restrict himself to only using Chain Jail on them, only to capture and possibly interrogate them is one way he ensures he doesn't become like them. Kurapika is also an assistant character in Jump Super Stars [9] and a playable character in the fighting game Jump Force. He also suggests that, since the Spiders could not steal anything, if they are to release him immediately, he will spare their lives.
