Hp wireless mouse not working

Install the AA Alkaline batteries that came with the mouse. Release the latch at the back end of the mouse, lift the top cover, and then set the cover aside. Insert the batteries into the mouse, and then push down until they click into place. Position the top cover over the mouse, and then gently push down the cover until it clicks into place. After both connections are set up completely, switch between the two by pressing the Connect button on the mouse. Slide the power switch underneath the mouse to the On position. On the mouse, press and hold the Connect button for three seconds until the pairing light blinks white. Click HP Travel Mouse, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. If you want to add another computer, repeat the steps to pair the mouse with the second computer.
