We took a trip with kids to explore as much as we could of what the city has to offer and we based ourselves just out of the centre at the Hilton Garden Inn Sevilla. With a swimming pool, paddle tennis and hotel hilton garden inn other facilities this hotel is a great stay in southern Spain for families.

For my second stay in Singapore, I picked the Hilton Garden Inn which would also be my first encounter with this brand. Marketed at a lower price point in general, the Hilton Garden Inn seems to be on par with Four Points in the Starwood portfolio. The Hilton Garden Inn is located right in the middle of the Little India neighbourhood, and within walking distance to the Little India MRT station which connects to the blue line in the city. While the Little India neighbourhood can be a great place to search for cheap food and hour shopping, the place can be quite rowdy in the weekends when the large groups of foreign guest workers congregate and gather. Otherwise the hotel has a porch and drop-off area when guests arrive by taxi and first impressions of the hotel are great. Even though the hotel is in Little India, there are Chinese stone lions by the entrance, which I attribute to this hotel being a Chinese-owned business.
