The animals were well taken care of, the facility was spotless, there were indoor rooms with outdoor runs and I was super impressed…. The people are always friendly and as a prior customer our current cat named Max, formerly named Shadow we couldn't possibly be happier with the furry family member we…. POA is also a wonderful place to volunteer some time. The cat shelter and dog kennels are clean, well equipped and smooth running. They have great pets there too!! I volunteer hours per month at the Meriden Humane Society. It is a hard and thankless job normally. It is difficult to care for so many animals that have been cast off or…. The employees here are all very knowledgeable and courteous.
