In most of stations in MRT Kajang Line and Putrajaya Line, the project owner has feeder bus mrt up feeder buses which is to enhance the convenience of commuters to reach their final destination.
User-collected data on waiting times reviewed by Malaysiakini showed that feeder buses arrival and departure times are somewhat irregular, adding up to 34 minutes waiting time for MRT users. This hampers reliability, especially when coupled with the fact that bus schedules are not published. However, many of the respondents who recorded their wait times for this article said they have managed to incorporate the wait times into their schedules, and are able to estimate a regular time for their journeys. The feeder buses, which are operated by RapidKL, play the role of connecting MRT users to the station or to their final destinations. Following a call-out by Malaysiakini on social media, 13 MRT users volunteered to note the time they arrive at the bus stop or MRT station, and the time they depart on the feeder bus on weekdays over two weeks. The station was opened on 17 July as part of the second phase operations of the line. It is also well known for being located near two large shopping complexes - MyTown Shopping Centre housing Malaysia's second IKEA store and Sunway Velocity Mall , with the former being connected to the station via an underground pedestrian linkway and the latter via an elevated pedestrian bridge. The location is part of an area previously occupied by quarters housing government servants. The station has four underground levels, with three accessible to the public, namely the Upper Concourse Level, Lower Concourse Level and the Platform Level. One level housing the plant rooms is located between the Upper and Lower Concourse Levels, and is not accessible by the public.

Due to road extension works, Service was unofficially extended to loop at Keat Hong Close after the roundabout at the end of Choa Chu Kang Ave 5 was removed in January However, it did not serve the two new pairs of bus stops along the extended route.
