Although they have a friendly rivalry with each other, Ash and Trevor are friends as they are there for each other.

During another attack from Team Rocket, Sliggoo evolved into Goodra while saving his friends from a fire.

Since this goal is so close to his heart, he sometimes acts a bit rash and rushes to the next battle he can as fast as possible. Right now, he's battling his way up the ranks in Galar.
