What is ViVA? What is abbreviated as "ViVa"?
However I always encounter "Swap Activity Warning". I have to restart Virtuoso to recover normal operation speed. I think it is because Virtuoso can not release allocated memory. Is ther any method to recover normal operation speed without restarting Virtuoso? Title: Re: Virtuoso Slow Down after Large Memory exhaustion Post by Andrew Beckett on Dec 21 st , , am There has been some work on this recently - but in general releasing memory back to the operating system is challenging in most applications. Please contact Cadence Customer Support for this as then a Cadence AE can see if there's anything that can be done to help not sure which subversion of the IC tools you're using, for example.

In the latest manual it details a cyclic select where you can cycle thru all objects under the cursor. The manual says you start this by "cntrl-y". This does not work as "cntrl-y" is not bound to anything. I looked thru all the Cadence supplied bindkey files and "cntrl-y" is not bound in any of them. So then I searched thru the Skill code using Finder and did not find anything related to cyclic selecting. I seem to remember this working at some time in the past. How do you set the partial select so that it is off by default when a new cell is opened? Other than writing a skill code to toggle select then parse the return code, I do not see how it can be done. Mouse popup menu. What is the mouse popup menu button button 2 bound to? I can only assume it is a function that was written later. On the same subject, how can I find where any of the customer written Skill functions are stored? I would like to write a function where I can mouse click on a point in the design and have it place the coordinates at that point. The main requirement is that it would be like the ruler function where it puts non-permanant markers on the screen that can be erased.
Kind regards, Ahmad. So it is not a matter of abandoning wavescan, but an evolution of wavescan - fixing issues and improving it as we go along. Reotaro Hashemoto.
Andrew Beckett : Do you like opera? Joe Miller : I'm not that familiar with opera. Andrew Beckett : This is my favorite aria. This is Maria Callas. This is "Andrea Chenier", Umberto Giordano. This is Madeleine.
Profession… senior associate at a law firm, until he was wrongfully terminated. Andrew was diagnosed with AIDS eight months ago during a bout of pneumonia. He recovered quickly and was back at work in ten days. Since he was doing so well on the AZT, he decided against telling anyone about it. He dove back into work and everything was fine, until the lesions started. Soon after that, he was fired by Wyant Wheeler. Interests… the law. It's the only thing he has ever wanted to do. Despite what has happened, Andrew still has faith in the legal system and justice, so he has decided to file a wrongful termination case against his employers. But his old firm is so powerful that no established attorney wants the engagement.

Andrew Beckett : It's that every now and again - not often, but occasionally - you get to be a part of justice being done. Granting a restraining order against this construction site will throw Philadelphians out of work and lend validation to this contemptable groundless nuisance suit. Wavescan will be abandoned as same as AWD after a release of Wavescan? It certainly does re-use memory for waveform objects in many cases given the kind of processing that many ADE users do, but clearly that's not happening properly in your specific case. Andrew Beckett : Gee, I love you guys. Which it doesn't. This does not work as "cntrl-y" is not bound to anything. However, as a matter of protocol, please ask the newsgroup who knows Reotaro Hashemoto UTC. Courtroom movies.

So it is not a matter of abandoning wavescan, but an evolution of wavescan - fixing issues and improving it as we go along. And I can complete in post processing. Takie sobie Andrew Beckett : [to Joe in his office] "I misplaced an important compliant" that's their story my side of the story is: the night before it was due I worked on the compliant in my office and I left a copy of it on my desk, the next day the compliant vanished no hard copy, all traces of it mysteriously gone from my computer, miraculously a copy was located at the last minute and we got it to court on time but the next day I was summoned to a meeting with the managing partners who were waiting for me in the conference room. However I always encounter "Swap Activity Warning". Joe Miller : Yeah. It's not a whole new waveform tool; it's based upon wavescan, but as part of our ongoing improvements, various parts of it are being re-implemented in Qt, to allow tighter integration with the rest of the IC61 tools. Andrew Beckett wrote on Jan 19 th , , am : Ultimately the graph will also be reimplemented in Qt. Joe Miller : Explain this to me like I'm a six year old, didn't you have an obligation to tell your employers you had this deadly infectious disease? I am love! Question to: Andrew Beckett, Svenn, or Stephan.. Your honor.
