Looks like the compressor and bracket are different era's as pointed out. The idler will line up if the correct spacer is used behind it. There are a couple different spacers that will fit. I think you need the three groove Crank Pulley even if you do not have power steering. By installing the 3 groove pulley everything should line up. All my pulleys line up.
