I've got a sweet smell coming into the car whenever the engine becomes warm. Pretty sure I see a filmy residue on the windshield. My guess is that it's a coolant leak. I bought a pressure tester kit and hooked it up to the radiator. I pumped it up to 10PSI. I know the system can handle 18PSI, but I didn't want to run the risk of damaging the cooling system. After letting it sit for minutes, I didn't see any leaks underneath the vehicle. I pulled up the passenger side carpet to check to see if it was a heater core issue. Sure enough, there appears to be a red stain on the foam padding underneath the carpet. But the odd thing is that it wasn't wet. When the vehicle was sold to me, the vent shown in the picture was blocked with a piece of plastic Maybe intentionally to hide the coolant smell?

After doing some searching on here I narrowed it down to a heater core going bad. Took it to a trusted mechanic because I don't have the patient or the time to try and replace the heater core myself due to how extensive it is on the wj.

I have a puddle of coolant on my passenger foot-well, all of my windows fog up, it was actually blowing what looked like fog out of my defroster which I'm assuming is leaking coolant being vaporized and blown into the jeep, coolant is slowly draining. So I went and bought a new heater core from the dealer and I've found a good set of instructions which i will attach. Is there another full set of instructions to remove that section? If anyone has done this or if you have any insight or instructions I would appreciate the help.
