Sometimes I try to convey a certain feeling, other times I just have an idea that I want to explore. Where do you usually draw inspiration from?

Influenced by her parents, she became adept in various facets of Eastern art, ranging from traditional embroidery to painting. Often, her illustrations portray a girl with her pet, imbued with warmth, light, and a range of emotions. They seem to present a narrative that solitude isn't always melancholic; it can also be a realm of peace and self-discovery. Sometimes, Yaoyao delves into the theme of love, capturing the precious moments shared between two individuals.
