Yallingup in South West Australia is an excellent hollow heavy beach break with a rock and sand bottom. This is a classic WA setup with plenty of options. The waves here are generally pretty heavy and can break for up to meters, serving up barreling sections where you can pull in and snag some tube time, as well as open faces fit to carve. Aussie great Taj Burrow grew up here and still calls this area home. Gets good between waist-high to triple overhead. We recommend riding your longboard, standard shortboard, or step up when bigger here.
