It is a mod that gives characters the ability to worship different deities that are part of the Elder Scroll Lore. Once you get started, you can pick any deity that you wish to worship from Nine Divines, Eleven Ancestors, Daedric Princes, and others. You can choose a deity by visiting a shrine or by reading scriptures. Wintersun - Faiths of Skyrim is a worship and prayer mod that gives players access to a total of 50 deities. Out of these 50, some are part of The Elder Scrolls V lore, while some have been introduced by the modder. Once installed, the mod lets you worship a deity by reading scriptures or visiting their shrine so you can receive their blessings and divine strength.

Currently I'm tinkering with a duplicate of the Kynareth shrine blessing file to try and create a prompt for Nords that still has the same effects and tenets as Kynareth. The png shows the menu for it. I wanted to know what global value or whatever else I should set it to in order to make the name of Kynareth for Nords Kyne without making a whole new deity. As suggested by its name, it's all about introducing the ability for player characters to worship deities of the Elder Scrolls lore, who can pick from the Nine Divines and Daedric Princes but also among Elven Ancestors, deities worshipped by the Khajit and the Redguard and even minor deities. When you use a shrine, you may choose to worship its deity. This makes you a Worshipper of that deity and you get a minor ability, the Meditation power, and a list of their religious tenets. Some deities can only be worshipped by specific races or after completing a quest. Adhering to their tenets and meditating or praying at their shrine will raise your favor with the deity. Ignoring your religious duties or violating their taboos will lower your favor with the deity, who will eventually leave you.

Whenever you use a shrine, a dialog box appears, allowing you to become a Follower of that deity. Followers receive a subtle gift, the Pray power, and a list of religious tenets. Some deities can only be worshipped by certain races or after completing a quest. Adhering to the tenets, praying, and worshipping at their shrine will raise your favor with your deity. Ignoring your religious duties or violating their taboos will cause your favor with the deity to gradually diminish. Use the Pray power to kneel and enter a meditative state, raising your favor and displaying your current favor. While you can pray as often as you wish, praying at least once a day is sufficient to raise your favor as fast as possible; there is no additional benefit to repeatedly praying in quick succession or praying for long amounts of time. Some deities may restrict prayer to specific times or locations. You can also worship at the shrine of your deity. Worship is equivalent to prayer, but raises favor by a larger amount.
