Puerto Azul in Caracas Area is an exposed windguru arrecife break that has reasonably consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds are from the south with some shelter here from east winds, windguru arrecife. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the north northeast.

So an hour after going in for a bit of indexing, I emerge with a sizeable credit card bill, and a new long cage rear derailleur at least I may get up Hardknott one day on a 32 rear sprocket now!! Even with current exchange rates, the price was similar to UK online, so I was soooo grateful! Meanwhile, poor Sue was having dead Garmin traumas, and had become the de rigueur dining spot for all the mosquitoes of the Canaries! She was becoming well known at all the local pharmacies.
