This page is a non exhaustive list of tools which are known to be used to help with the organization of WCA competitions. Not all tools on that page are maintained by the WST: it's definitely fine! We don't have the manpower to manage all the WCA-related software out there :. Wca competitions

The World Cube Association WCA is the worldwide non-profit organization that regulates and holds competitions for mechanical puzzles that are operated by twisting groups of pieces, commonly known as twisty puzzles a subcategory of combination puzzles. The most famous of those puzzles is the Rubik's Cube. Since the start of the WCA there have been over 10, competitions. The organization is run by the board members. It assigns different teams and committees as well as delegates who can organize official competitions. The presence of a delegate is required to make the competition official. As of February [update] , over , people from around the world have participated in WCA competitions [3] and over 10, competitions have been held. They discuss issues that affect the WCA and advise the committees. The WCA Board oversees that the applications to hold WCA Competitions meet fair conditions to ensure equality throughout the World, and finally it approves and announces the competitions accordingly. After competitions, they read reports from the WCA delegates about competitions to be up to date on the WCA activity worldwide and take part in the discussion of any incidents that occur.

Speedcubing is about solving a Rubik's Cube or other twisty puzzle in the shortest time possible. There are numerous speedcubing competitions that take place around the World with different types of challenges like the fewest move challenge or solving the cube blindfolded , one handed , with one's feet , or underwater in a single breath. In "Team Blindfold" one team member is blindfolded and the other one is telling what moves to make.
