It was a little chilly on the evening we dined at the Waterside Restaurant. However, we had been in California for several days and had yet to dine alfresco, so we requested patio seating. The view of the fishing boats docked in the Channel Islands Harbor, the sound of lapping waves and the aroma of salty sea air was the perfect setting. The location in the harbor is nice hence two stars rather than one , and perhaps it is still a good bet for brunch. It was obvious the other table were friends of hers. We felt like we were at a boutique restaurant, the food tasted like it was homemade and we were in our home kitchen being catered to! And please don't pull that trick of keeping the current staff on for a while and then booting them. This place is clearly on my top 2 pizza places ever!
