Warriors: Power of Three is the third arc in the Warriors juvenile fantasy novel series about anthropomorphic feral cats. Power of Three details the experiences of protagonist of the first series Firestar's three grandchildren, initially known as Jaykit, Hollykit, and Lionkit, whom a prophecy foretells will have "the power of the stars in their paws". The arc's major themes deal with forbidden love, the concept of nature versus nurture, and characters being a mix of good and bad. Though the novels have appeared on the New York Times Bestseller List and have been nominated for several awards, none of the novels in Warriors: Power of Three have won a significant literary award. Warriors is written by Erin Hunter, a pen name for four people: Victoria Holmes , who creates the storyline and edits, and Kate Cary , Cherith Baldry , and Tui Sutherland , who write the books in turns. The Clans believe in StarClan, composed of the spirits of their ancestors.

The wild cats have flourished in their new home on the banks of the lake for several seasons, and the Clans are growing strong and healthy with new kits. The time has come for three kits of ThunderClan to become apprentices. Hollypaw, Jaypaw, and Lionpaw spring from a strong legacy: children of Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw, two of the noblest ThunderClan warriors, and grandchildren of the great leader Firestar himself. All three young cats possess unusual power and talent and seem certain to provide strength to the Clan for the next generation. But there are dark secrets around the three, and a mysterious prophecy hints at trouble to come. The third season finale injects a lot of chaos into Chinatown, with Ah Sahm, Young Jun, Mai Ling and the rest of the cast finding themselves in new positions and facing new threats. But will Warrior, and its blossoming star Andrew Koji , get the opportunity to continue the story with a fourth season? Unfortunately, Warrior has officially been canceled by Max. Warrior has also been revived before after switching distributors. When Cinemax announced in January that the network would no longer be producing original content, it seemed like Warrior would never see a third season.
