Erin Hunter is the author of the acclaimed best selling junior fantasy books for young adults called the Warriors series. There are six books total in the primary series. There are over 80 books featuring the tales and adventures of a group of Warrior Cats. Sutherland as well as editor Victoria Holmes, who develops the story for the books. Harper Collins asked Victoria Holmes to develop a story about a group of feral cats. Holmes used classical themes of love, politics, war, and religion and soon had enough material for a first novel. Harper Collins decided to green light for a six book series. All four use the collective pen name of Erin Hunter. Into The Wild is the first novel in the Warriors series.

Het plot is erg creatief, zeer Warrior Cats waardig. No wonder he sees it as more of a curse. Goosefeather is destined to be a medicine cat unlike any ThunderClan has ever known—but will he ever come to terms with a gift that feels like a curse? This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers. Oh my gosh!!!! This was a great book, overall. Factor 2 to his craziness: He's told to keep his gift a secret. If anything, considering he starts his apprenticeship and then receives his medicine cat name at such an early age, they have to take him seriously. Goosefeather's Curse also makes almost no sense from a timeline standpoint. Even when he becomes a medicine cat apprentice, Goosefeather's mentor, Cloudberry, doesn't seem to realize how truly unique he is, nor just how great the burden on his shoulders is. I felt like this book had way too many of them.
