Sorry but have to say discussing whether 1mm is too much, too little or just right is probably the definition of anorak. The new Gibsons I have had all needed way more adjustment to make play right. I have owned a bunch of Warmoth necks as well, the workmanship and quality is top notch, I love the big spectrum of possibilities which includes a huge wood selection, neck profiles, widths, and thicknesses, scale length conversion features, fret choices, finish options, nut, etc. However, after a few years service, the plastic crumbled and I had to fit a new one.
