Seeing as there were no Feedback areas that specifically referred to the new Archon Shards, I will make this post here, since Archon Shards can be construed as "Weapons". Well, I gotta say, I am severely disappointed with these new "Weapons", especially since these are only available in endgame, and they're almost all worse than the individual Archon Shards that are required in order to make these things. I shall now berate these Archon Shards, as they deserve. The process of Coalescent Fusion allows for two Archon Shards to be fused together to create a single Shard that offers a set of new embed bonuses. Why would they act like these Shards had "new bonuses" if they really just meant "new stats"? I know I'm being picky here, but a bonus means "extra", not the sole thing. Well DE is now telling us that, if we "fuse" 2 whole hard-earned Archons Shards together, then we'll get a "bonus" stat. That sort of implies that we keep our original stats from both Archon Shards and then receive an all-new "bonus" stat, all bundled in a single Shard! Well that would actually make it worth-while to fuse 2 whole Archon Shards into something actually better than what they already were, by essentially letting us place 2 shards in one slot while also getting a cute little bonus added! Well no. That is sadly not what they meant. We've been given almost entirely useless new Archon Shards, and to add insult to injury, they want us to destroy 2 good Archon Shards just to try them out And no take-backs either!

Each Shard provides a selection from five stats and only one can be chosen per Shard though the same bonus can be chosen again if multiple Shards of the same colour are socketed in the same Warframe , and each Warframe has 5 available Shard slots. Once a shard has been socketed, it will appear in the Arsenal for that Warframe for quicker access to the imbuement system.

Tauforged Archon Shards are hotly pursued items, understandably so! Secondary Critical Chance on Heat Kill. Posted December 15, edited. Nearly every Warframe can hit this value by using Primed Flow. Narmer Isoplast. You must be Rank 2 with the Cavia Syndicate to purchase this blueprint. This could be pretty good if your companion can trigger it. All of those bonuses are going to be pretty actively providing something. We made this change to create a healthy reward cycle and expectation for the players interacting with the Archon Shard system and putting in the effort to play through Archon Hunts. This encourages players to complete all weekly Archon Hunts to maximize their Tauforged drops across all three shard types. This relates to Loid sending you an Inbox message upon reaching Rank 2 that the Segment is now available. Again, I can't confirm because I haven't tested myself and it's just what I heard, but apparently it provide passive healing that goes up to per second, which is a decent chunk of healing that could be used on it's own.

Unless this is multiplicative, then it is literally worse than the standard Crimson Archon Shard, because it is effectively the exact same, except it only works with abilities that do electric damage. Damage attenuation—an aggressive form of damage resistance—is tied to every Archon fight in Warframe, flooring your damage if the game detects you're dealing too much damage in a short timeframe. It feels very hostile to invest into these, like they're going to inevietably be subject to bugs and edge cases, tweaks and rebalances. This one is exactly the same as the original Shard, except it gets doubled when you have more than Energy.
