Our Summer Ballet Intensive serves as a preparatory mixture of dynamic dance classes in Classical, Character, and Jazz where dancers will develop a better understanding of Ballet and their artistic expression.

Catherine is thrilled to be performing the role of Snow Queen again this year. She is 16 years old and a sophomore at El Toro High School. She also treasures the opportunity to dance with her father as Drosselmeyer. Catherine received scholarships to attend both Ballet West and Joffrey summer intensives. Outside of dance, Catherine loves to read, travel, and spend time with her sister. It has also been a pleasure for her to grow alongside incredible dancers and friends. Hannah Gu is 14 years old and a freshman at Tesoro High School. This will be her 6th nutcracker, and in the past years, Hannah has had many roles ranging from party boy and clown to Clara and Dew Drop Fairy. Outside of dance and school, she enjoys listening to music, playing instruments, and hanging out with friends. Over these years, her love for ballet and dance has only ever deepened.

Enjoy the option of a three week program or the full four weeks with a finale show at the end. Classes feature live piano accompaniment. This teaching method centers on encouraging the dancers individual artistic, physical, and emotional well-being.

From the moment you step through our door, you will be made to feel welcome by our friendly, helpful reception team, who can advise you on the best classes to fulfill your dance and fitness aims. Get started today with our selection of Open classes below. Adults are welcome to wear any type of dance clothing in which they feel comfortable. Many adults wear a leotard, tights, ballet shoes, and a cover up of a t-shirt and shorts.
