The unbroken lineage that ties todays practitioners of Celtic and Nordic tattooing to their ancestors can be traced in artifacts, historical records, and myth. Although Celtic tattoos for men have been around for a very long time, their popularity has grown in recent times. Many times, people are under the impression, that only knotwork makes up Celtic tattoo designs, which is however not true. We will look closely at what makes these tattoo artists stand out from the others, and what makes them similar.
