Today, we cherish that legacy and continue the long tradition of sending postcards and cards to our friends and family members, especially on special occasions. In this article, we look at the fascinating world of Victorian cards and postcards by exploring their history. The first British postcards appeared in They came in two different sizes and were inspired by Austro-Hungarian cards, which were the first ones to be introduced in Europe the previous year.
