At the end of the tree-lined drive, you'll find our Soap Factory - a converted machinery shed emitting the most wonderful aroma. A visit to the Factory allows you to witness the soap makers at work, as they hand blend a variety of luxurious natural body products using the finest extra virgin olive oil. Overlook the unique working factory and watch the entire process, from manufacture through to the individually hand packaged finished products. Chat with the soap makers, get advice on the best products for your skin type, and discover the unique characteristics of our natural and organic ingredients. Feel the difference by experiencing the products for yourself at our testing stations. Indulge in our complete range of skin and body care, ranging from moisturising lotions, skin balms and scrubs, to bath and massage oils, and shampoo. The creation of Vasse Virgin emerged when Louis and Edwina Scherini's three children, who suffered from eczema and dermatitis, were advised by Doctors not to use commercial body products. The Scherini's were inspired to create a chemical free alternative, incorporating extra virgin olive oil and essential oils, excellent for those with allergies or sensitive skin. The complete range of skin, body and hair care products caters for customers of all skin types, or those simply looking for a natural alternative. Vasse Virgin now also has a dedicated tasting room where you can sample a carefully selected range of olive oil varietals including estate and locally-grown extra virgin olive oils. For all those olive-lovers out there, a diverse array of both locally-grown and internationally sourced table olives await your tastebuds.

Inspired to create a safe, chemical free alternative for their children they soon realised the only way they could guarantee that the products were natural and healthy was to make their own. It was here in this moment, they first discovered the healing powers of extra virgin olive oil and a new soap product was born. After experimenting with many different recipes and ingredients they finally came up with a range of soap bars using a traditional cold process method of soap making with extra virgin olive oil as the main base, along with ingredients carefully chosen not only for their therapeutic values but because each must also work as a skin care product. Organically grown teas, clays, flowers, herbs and spices then add texture and colour into the soap range. In our experience the commitment to using extra virgin olive oil as the base ingredient for our products is fundamental to our success. The history of olive oil mirrors the history of western civilisation. It has truly unique characteristics which can benefit even the most sensitive of skin types.
