What a great find the Village Shop and cafe is. We went there today for a Sunday breakfast after being recommended by friends. We both had the Big Dicker breakfast. Substituting Fried Bread for Toast was not a problem at all. The Cafe was licensed, Also on offer was lunch served until - A cosy, well managed, cafe, where you dont feel ripped off with the costs. Also, I should mention local produce bacon, eggs and sausages. All round excellent. The welcome is always warm, the atmosphere is very social and you get a strong community feeling. People know each other and there are The food and drinks menu offers a great variety. The food is great for vegetarians, vegans and others alike. There is also a great children's choice, and there are always great specials on the board as well. If you still have room for more after your filling main, the desert selection is very yummy. You won't regret it.
