Compensation and Military Training Days were introduced to spread the impact of public holidays across teaching periods for undergraduate students, given the majority of holidays fall on a Monday. The table below shows each public holiday or military training day that falls within semester 1 and 2. Each event has a corresponding compensation day. Classes scheduled on the event day will have their class moved to the compensation day noted for that week. Consequently, classes originally scheduled on the compensation day will be lost. Example: You have classes that fall on the Canberra Day public holiday. You will simply lose that day of teaching.
