I have booked my flights through edream, I got car accident and I cancelled my flights , edream in written advised me I am entitle to get tax and one of airline accepted my medical certificate and asked me to contact edream for returning money, now is 5 months that I just emailing to edream without any response, instead of proceed the return money, they ask to call, everytime I call, one different person to pick the phone and after 20 minutes they tell me that they will call me back by 48 hours, It seems this 48 hours after 5 months never arrive. Edreams is renowned for poor customer service. Put "edreams" into the search box right above your post, change the drop-down to "All forums". Just because one of the airlines said they would issue a refund, that would be to the agent you appointed who, guess what, has their own terms and conditions which told you, before you ticked the box confirming that you had read and accepted them, that they would not make any refunds. Well, I would guess that at least one person has gotten a refund from eDreams, but I might be wrong. EDreams will deduct a service fee for claiming any due taxes back. If the taxes were less then that then nothing will unfortunately be due back. The only other issue might be the way in which the refund claim has been made. Just emailing might not be their correct process and your email may have gotten lost somewhere down the eDreams misadministration line.

It seems to me you have done all you can before the flight. The true test will come when you board the Delta flight at DTW. I would not worry about it. The worst that can happen is they charge you the fee for one piece of luggage for one leg, which you can try to claim back afterward.
