It hit running stores back in mid-August, but it got a bit overlooked, both because it was delayed from a planned early June launch and because trail running shoes that drop in August often get muddled with back-to-school madness and a bigger focus on cross country shoe and marathon training and racing shoes.

But it also means that the soles of these shoes are rock-hard and equally unforgiving.
