For many school students and their families across the state, the Confraternity Carnival is the highlight of the year and for the College to play host to this was an honour. This year, over 54 schools took part in the carnival including 52 boys teams and 12 girls teams. The total number of schools and girls teams involved this year is a record for the Confraternity Carnival. The result went the favour of Lauries with an impressive victory thanks to some expansive gameplay. There were some outstanding individual performances, but the College is extremely proud of the way our young men played and the way they bounced back from adversity and failure. The pride our young men showed in the black and gold was a pleasure to watch. Hosting this carnival could not have been done without the support of carnival sponsors as well as our staff, students and community members who volunteered during the week.
