For my very first actual blog here, I'm gonna talk about one of the very famous theories in the franchise: "Is Dabi, the enigmatic villain, related to the Todoroki family? In the recent chapters, we have met one of Shouto's older brothers, Natsuo. That same brother revealed during his ranting against his father Endeavor the name of the eldest of the four Todoroki siblings, Touya. He also tell that something happened to him. We haven't seen this mysterious brother during the whole franchise except from Shouto's flashback where we can see him playing with Natsuo and Fuyumi. We haven't even met Touya once during the story. That's right! The real question we're gonna ask ourselves during this blog is:. There has been a lot of theories concerning this question lately on Tumblr, there has a been a lot of good arguments and I decided to share my own thoughts on this. This article is about Shoto Todoroki 's older brother. Ever since a young age, Enji has dedicated himself to the immoral and taboo process of creating children and subsequently putting them through rigorous training so that they may unlock their Quirk and master it with the intent of raising someone that could eventually surpass All Might. As a result, Enji's children, especially Shoto, have grown resentful of him. Shoto is ashamed of his fate as Endeavor's eventual successor and started rejecting all aspects of himself that tied him to his father, namely the fire half of his Quirk. It took a confrontation between Shoto himself and Izuku Midoriya for the former to accept his power as his own, not his father's. Aside from his poor treatment of Shoto, Enji treats his other children less so, but still no better.

In the current arc, his involvement has become more dominant than ever as he defeats Number 2 Hero Hawks and now eyes at exacting his vengeance upon the number 1 Pro Hero. The theories all came to a significant point of confirmation in the anime in the latest episode, revolving mostly around Dabi and his madman routine of proclamation and revelation. While the bandages over his face remain intact, Dabi pulls off the mask over his elusive identity, confirming himself to be a supposedly long-dead member of the Todoroki family. Shocking not only his father, the number 1 hero Endeavor, but also Shoto, Deku, Bakugo, and the rest of the Pro Heroes present at the battleground as well as the rest of the country watching his recorded confession on their TV sets. His unending thirst for the number 1 spot would go on to not just burn himself, but his family too. This was because of the trauma her husband had subjected her to, as well as her kids. Years of such trauma finally made her snap and she finally ended up at the hospital.
