The Witness focuses on 2D puzzle panels throughout a world for you to explore. While there are well over puzzles to solve, this walkthrough will focus mainly on the ones required for you to advance through the 11 lasers and the endgame, the witness guide.

The controls for the Witness are very basic. Therefore, the main focus of this page will be the rules you will encounter throughout the game. Overall, we are looking to find puzzle boards and solve them. In its most basic sense, these are all mazes that you need to go from start to finish while not being able to cross over your line. The only difficulty is in knowing the additional rules or conditions to finish it. In general, there are two types of solution methods:.
