This delightfully sited old pub overlooks the waterfront. The outside area is well protected from the elements as the wind was cold. Good parking although on busy road. The menu traditional with good selection of fish. Old fashioned battered cod and chips good but peas OK. Whitebait well cooked. Would recommend, especially when weather good but OK inside. Fantastic experience from great staff. The team managed to exceed expectations even when there was a mishap with our order our large group having a few items slightly under cooked. The team ensured that our food was replaced with no quibbles and did not hesitate The pub, food, location were exceptional and despite the hiccup with a few dishes the team could not apologise enough and really ensured that we were well looked after. There are many customer facing companies who could do with learning how to deal with a problem in the way that the staff at the Ship Inn did. We will be visiting again soon and would recommend this pub to anyone considering a trip to Langstone. Hi Chris, Thank you for taking the time to review your visit.
