After being closed for the best part of 3 years, now we return as The Pony Chew Valley.

Add to favorites. Featuring stunning views over the eponymous valley, this aptly named former pub now operates more as a restaurant. The short menu uses the seasons as a guide and showcases produce from the kitchen garden in vibrant, colourful dishes which mix creative and a few traditional elements. Desserts like almond and polenta cake are a highlight and the themed evenings at weekends are often centred around a local ingredient or producer. Marvellous food with paired wines from the tasting menu is a fantastic experience. Both of us loved the menus and wines and the way the wine changes taste when you have the food of that course , and look forward to coming back. I really like I would recommend the tasting menu as a 1st time visit to the restaurant, it is a little more expensive but totally worth it , this will allow you to sample the style of the place.
