The panda yum cha reviews
Having eaten here for dinner previously and been very impressed, we decided that trying their yum cha seemed like a very sensible idea. After all, yum cha is on their actual name. We were right! We started with these delicious mushroom dumplings. The green wrappers really stood out but the filling was even more impressive. It was a really bold mushroom flavour that surprised us in a good way. We loved these. Keeping with the steamed dumpling theme we then had some prawn had gows and some scallop and spinach dumplings. Both are old favourites of ours. A quick dip in the ever present garlic chilli sauce and they quickly disappeared down the hatch. Some people find these prawn noodles hard to eat. We get that because they are. The light soy sauce they come with goes nicely too with the chunky prawns and flat noodle. The bbq pork pies were delicious.

There was an intense back and forth between Laura and I about the time in which to go to Panda Yum cha. We had originally planned to leave around pm and get there at pm but since it closes at pm we didn't want to miss out on any goodies. So a plan was made to leave at 11am instead which would get us there at noon. We booked a private room and ordered from their banquet menu, there was so much variety on offer! It's not often you can find a Chinese restaurant that serves excellent quality food and good service. Interiors are beautiful too! Special shout out to Michelle who served our room. Thank you for a wonderful night! Review: Had a really great time dining here with my family.

They were still warm when they arrived at the table too. The food was amazing and Jay, the waiter, was very friendly. The radish cake has slightly crispy edges with crunchy bean sprouts and the XO sauce seasons them well. The seafood dumplings are fine although they're quite fishy in flavour so I don't have more than a bite of these. I love sharing my favourite recipes, restaurants and travel destinations with you. Laura usually loves egg custard tarts but I only like them if the pastry is super flakey so in lieu of quizzing the busy staff we opt for choices we both like. Keeping with the steamed dumpling theme we then had some prawn had gows and some scallop and spinach dumplings. Of course we had to have dessert - even though we were very full already. It was the perfect mix. There's the regular dumpling offerings as well as the restaurant's main offerings of more substantial dishes. See our Disclaimer. It's a touch sweet with pleasingly textured prawns inside and coriander. There was an intense back and forth between Laura and I about the time in which to go to Panda Yum cha. The food just as same as the photos. Laura and I do some shopping and she's in the middle of trying on a dress when we get the text an hour later.

They could cut some dishes for us but most dumplings cannot be cut so we ended up ordering more dishes. Inside the restaurant is gorgeous, it's spacious with a moon and clouds theme that sounds odd but somehow works. Value for money: Good value. Join the Foodie Journey. Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Pulling it apart it's a gelatinous glutinous rice flour beauty so sticky in texture with a delicious sweet black sesame filling. They're tasty and feather light and crisp on the outside with a thick taro filling and mince on the inside but alas on the cold side. Display Name. Worth a visit but can be busy in the weekend.
