The community calamity

This page documents modding content that is affiliated with the Calamity Mod that has been created by members of the community. Calamity's Vanities is a vanity mod created by Hypera and currently owned by YuH, with sprites, code, and designs from various other contributors, the community calamity. The mod adds over 80 new pets based on the mod's content, several mountscritters the community calamity, and an assortment of other vanity items.

The Community is an accessory which uncommonly drops from Leviathan and Anahita. When equipped, it grants the player various offensive, defensive, and mobility stat boosts which scale as the player progresses through the game by defeating more bosses. While the user's life regeneration is below zero, it also grants 1 life regen. The amount of life regen granted while the user's life regeneration is below zero also increases to 3. The Community gains higher power depending on the number of bosses killed within the world. Bosses can be defeated in any order, but defeating bosses later in progression will not count towards bosses earlier in progression. Defeating the same boss multiple times does not have any effects.

Note that the life regen bonuses listed below only apply if the player currently has negative life regen, meaning they're taking damage over time. The Shattered Community is a Godseeker Mode accessory. It is the exhumed form of The Community. The player will also passively gain rage over time, as well as when taking damage. The Shattered Community has a level mechanic which is based on the amount of damage dealt while the Rage Mode buff is active and the item is equipped. All stats will persist even after the buff runs out, the player dies, or takes the accessory off. The Leviathan and Anahita are a duo of bosses that can be fought at any point in the game, but is intended to be fought during Hardmode. It is recommended that the player acquire post- Plantera equipment before engaging the bosses, as they are very challenging and require the management of two boss-tier enemies with several summons all at once.
