Former Thorold mayor Ted Luciani is being remembered as a true friend of the community and family-oriented man after losing his battle with cancer. Luciani died last Thursday at age 75 after battling cancer for many months, something his family said he was very private about. His nieces and friends said he enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, but his passions included gardening, cooking, woodworking and sports.
