However, he can actually eat everything in his path that's smaller than himself. He bit the young scientist's finger, and then when the scientist washed his hands in the sink, he fell into the drain and was released into the wild. Throughout the game, we see Grey Goo growing bigger and bigger and the attempts the scientists make to get rid of him fail, resulting in his size continuing to increase. After getting thrown into the water, he makes it back onto land, and then takes to the skies to eat everything there. He proceeds to then enter space and eat the entire moon in one gulp, and then eats black holes, stars, entire galaxies, universes, and eventually grows so big that he eats the literal fabric of space-time, destroying the entire megaverse. In the second installment of the Tasty Planet series, Grey Goo is created by a malfunction of a time machine the old scientist created.
