I don't know what it is but I still have trouble taking the Djaradin seriously compared to say the Gronn. They say they're the ultimate dragon killers but we don't see them kill any dragons despite having both magic and technology far beyond what the gronn did. Meanwhile in game you can see black dragon corpses impaled on spikes around Gruul's territory. I get that the theme of the expansion is a lower power level but they really should've done a better job of making Djaradin feel threatening, because apparently these guys were capable of hunting dragons in their prime, and yet in game we see them only manage a victory against one town that had been out of practice for who knows how long, and primarily had whelps, and didn't even include any drakes, let alone adult dragons. The obsidian citadel is taken without a single dragon dying. Why didn't they include some red shirts to help reflect these guys mean business?
